HP ML10 GEN 9 parts help

According to the manual an ML10 Gen9 just has SATA ports. Any standard SATA cable should work.
  6. I have been following the instruction from here https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX-667716d4a6854e73b718994cf1#tab2 but I just can not get it to work; is the array drive installed as default when 6.5 is installed?

Giving This Walmart Tablet a Try

I am enjoying the 8 inch tablet. I am able to watch Netflix, YoutubTV, access email. I did not give this tablet much expectations but so far so good. The battery will last me a day with moderate use and charging is done within and hour.

Does the older scsi-hpvsa-5.5.0-88OEM.550.0.0.1331820.x86_64.vib work for you with the HP 6.7 U2 release? I updated to 6.7 U2, everything worked fine, afterwords I downgraded to the scsi-hpvsa-5.5.0-88OEM. After the reboot, I can not see my Datastores anymore, when I click in the Webgui on the storage adapter i get an error: Ursache: Possibly unhandled rejection: {} Version: 1.33.3 Build: 12923304 ESXi: 6.7.0 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0 Ausnahmestapel: this.toAddress64@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:422:206 updateAdapter@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:365:26206 @https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:365:26542 k/<@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:324:23176 $digest@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:324:28780 $evalAsync/<@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:324:30503 e@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:323:10071 tg/h.defer/c<@https://192.168.100.120/ui/scripts/main.js:323:11522

Giving This Walmart Tablet a Try

    How is it?
  14. Try both. I think I have one or maybe 2 of the disks. I have two boxes but have somehow lost the disks in 2 moves. There is still a crap ton of info out there. One search led me to this article. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01586276 Probably some of the same info for the 495

Is it time to merge them all? I knew the day would come.
  16. Hi, I have a Gen8 Microserver running Win10, with 4 x 4TB drives, combined in stablebit drivepool. Each drive is setup as an individual array within iLO - so JBOD. Recently two of the drives reported bad sectors so I want to replace them. I've removed the two offending drives from the drive pool, and moved all files from them, but I'm just a bit nervous about the process of replacing them within iLO. The drives are E:, F:, G: and H:. It's G and H that have bad sectors. In Stablebit Scanner these are report as PHYSICALDRIVE 3 and 4. Using Speccy I identified the serial numbers of those drives. Unfortunately, when I go into iLo, the serial numbers are different (as reported in the Assigned Drives). So, Q1 - how do I actually identify the drives with the bad sectors in iLo? Given that they are PHYSICALDRIVES 3 & 4, can I assume they are located in Bays 3 & 4? (i.e. the two right hand bays). Q2 - What's the best way to remove them? Can I just physically pull them out and replace them (with potentially drives of differing sizes). Or do I need to delete the individual arrays they belong to? (Slightly nervous about that as it warns me all data will be wiped, so I want to be absolutely sure I'm deleting the correct arrays!). I do have all the files backed up, so I shouldn't lose any data, but restoring and reconfiguring would be a major pain in the butt.

    ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 Links

Yes, I already did it. Just download the .exe file then extract it with WinZip, 7Zip or any other archive manager (yes, in fact the .exe file is a self-extracting archive), then flash the extracted image with iLO interface.

HP ML10 GEN 9 parts help

Depending on how your ML10 Gen9 was configured, I think it has room for six disk drives. Review starting on page 10: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04960468 This is also a good reference document: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04960486 Let us know if that helps.

    ESXi notes

I ended up downloading the latest 6.7 gen9 plus vmware esxi 6.7 u2 ISO for my microserver gen8. I was running 6.7 fine, but when I went to upgrade, I was getting space issues. I had been meaning to swap USB drives, so this was a good time to rebuild from scratch. So I built it up with the latest vmware esxi 6,7 u2 iso, and I had my old performance issues copying off of the p222 raid card. I was getting 20MB/s on gig LAN. So I thought i'd try the gen9 one. Tried that, and I now get 50MB/s. I think that's fine. The next step I guess would be to try installing the last 6.5 for gen8, and then upgrade to 6.7u2.
