samuk
Hi, One of my drives has failed in my Micro Server - running windows 2012 storage server. 2 TB SATA HDD at Port 2I : Bay 3 is bad or missing. To correct this problem, check the data and power connections to the physical drive. For more information, generate a diagnostics report I have 2tb x4 disks installed. I have just bought 4tb x 4 disks, and wanting to remove the 2tb and install these..? ------------------------ Hoping to remove the faulty drive and install 1 4tb disk, once rebuilt replace the other 2tb disks one at a time with the 4th disk. (Will this work)? I have 4 bays on the micro server - bay 3 has failed. will this be the 3rd drive from the left? as there is no light indicator and i dont want to pull the wrong drive out? I have a P222 raid controller connected to the drive cage using a cable i purchased (forget what its called) thanks for any advise.. Sam
