CrashPlan vs CloudBerry RAM usage

Recommended Posts

See this screenshot of CrashPlan using about 300 mb more than Cloudberry.  The kicker is that CloudBerry is running it's initial backup and CrashPlan is idle.

I have over a year left of my CrashPlan subscription, but the RAM usage is killing me.  Thoughts and Opinions please.  Has anyone found a solid alternative to CrashPlan?

I agree with the RAM issue. I have 16GB in my main PC with CrashPlan using over 2GB. That is far more memory than any backup solution I

have used and far more than BackBlaze. Any idea on CP RAM usage on a NAS?
