Have you registered yet?  There is still time.  We are up to 40 registrations already.  If Meetup 2015 is not enough of a draw for you how about we announce some give aways!

Synology has stepped up, AGAIN!

They have sent a BeyondCloud 2TB and a BeyondCloud Mirror.  Check those out here:  https://www.synology.com/en-us/products/BeyondCloud

Both have drives and are ready to go.  I have a Synology Review unit that I'll be giving away as well.

Icy Dock donated a few items as well.  I just unboxed them on YouTube.  https://youtu.be/sn1-tKXAZRQ

If that isn't enough check out what SchoonDog is bringing and giving away.  Two servers!

Lenovo TS140 XEON

Dell T20 XEON with the two extra drive bays and a RAID card.

I went with Lowe's Iris. I have a new unopened Staples Connect Hub, motion sensor and contact sensor if you

would like to give them away as a package.

I am planning and working towards a final e-mail to all attendees on Tuesday 9/8.  It will have details of Friday night and the Saturday schedule.  I sent an e-mail to you last week so look for it.  It is the e-mail asking if anyone cannot attend and you registered.  Reply to me because it helps me nail down the number for catering.  Different caterer this year!

I'm bringing a Synology DS114 and 4TB Red -- brand new in boxes.

Gotta say, Dave -- I'm looking forward to the football game as well -- it'll be a nice change of pace and maybe your boys will appreciate having a larger-than-usual extra-geeky cheering section.

Although it also reminds me of what Napoleon said in Time Bandits.  "Little things hitting each other!  THAT is what I like!"

My 2004 Honda Civic will hit 225,000 miles somewhere on the journey (and yes, I plan to fit all of the gear I bring in it!)
