Hi all!

Anyone use Gentoo Linux on G8?

In ILO4 on "System Information" Page, under, for example, "Storage" I see this:

LO did not detect the Agentless Management Service when this page was loaded. To view a full set of data on this page, ensure that AMS is installed and running.
The SAS/SATA controller information is displayed only when AMS is ready on the server.

I try to install latest hp-health package (from RHEL 6/7 rpm, 10.1 and 10.2), but it not working for me under gentoo.

Do you install hp-health under other supported Linux Distributions, like RHEL/SUSE/Debian?

Hi,

I'm actually running Nethserver, a Centos Based distro, and I'm not using hp-health tools.

HP has repositories for RHEL/SLE and Ubuntu/Debian, I don`t know If gentoo can use there repositorie.

Gentoo is not offically support, but this mean it`s not working...

Take a look at https://downloads.linux.hp.com/

There`s things in tar.gz format and perhaps with this gentoo thread https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-7248236.html,

You will succeed.

Keep us informed.

Thank you
