Anyone else had a play with this yet, got given a server yesterday, although I am thinking of running it up on my old spare gaming rig, 16Gb i7, 256Gb SSD....

I loaded it on a N40L and a HP 320e Gen8 without issue -- didn't get to play with it much yet -- had planned to play at the meet-up but I got caught up looking at everyone else's gear :)

Plan to get into it some in the next few weeks...............

I loaded Essentials into a VM earlier this week.  Haven't had time to do much, but I did notice that you have the option to pick a domain name that doesn't end in .local if you want.

I think you were technically capable of doing that in 2012 and 2012R2, but you had to use an unattended installation file in order to do it.

Yeah screw it, I'll do something over the weekend, I'll check if my PLA's run in the attic and them drop the server and the other rig up there out of the way...

I just got TP4. I have a spare server with 16gb of memory and a set of WD Red 4gb drives. I think I will install this on a Samsung 250gb drive. This is going on a Microserver N64L-G7. I will try to post my results.
