bluepuma
Hi everyone, I would like to replace my current HTPC setup of a 40" TV, Raspberry Pi 2 with OpenElec and a Zyxel 2-bay NAS. I was thinking about a 50" 4K TV (which have come down to 500 bucks) and combining the player with the storage, so equipping the Gen8 with a HDMI graphics card supporting audio. Is the small Gen8 capable of handling 4K streaming but more important is there a PCI-Express graphics card which can display 4K with 30Hz or even 60Hz? Thanks bluepuma

Thanks bluepuma Mine handles all the 1080p Plex streams well. I mean it supplies the streams to the plex player app installed on the Tv with no problems, no lag or anything. I understand your situation is different.
