I got one the last time they had the sale.

I need to take some pictures and do a show and tell.

It is a good deal for $220, but the drive mounting is weird. There is a 5.25 bay at the top and it looks like you can mount two 3.5 drives below. Then there is a four drive kit:

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/oas/product-detail.html?oid=5449439

The kit includes a 5.25 to 3.5 drive adapter and a cage for three 3.5 drives, but it appears you need to remove the CPU heat-sink to install the three drive cage. It looks ;ile you would need to remove the heat-sink each time you wanted to change drives,,,, I need to verify that.

comes with a $10 gift card so maybe $210?

roger the odd disk mountings, I'm enamored of the gen7 disk bays...

oops! they had the cover off, looked like the back to me!

much better than the v1, I was wondering why it was so popular with such an inconvenient disk setup, at least they got smart about that shortcoming.

now if they only had a better policy on bios updates

so if you need to replace a drive you unplug all the drive cables and remove the cage? I still like my n54L's disk setup!

all the ductwork reminds me of my early Dell PCs.

I need to put it all together to verify, but yes it looks that way on the ML10.

On the ML10V2 it looks like you can just remove the drive.

this is from the v2 mtce guide, while it says 'remove the cables from the drive', it shows only one drive, so I think it would be 'remove the cables from all the drives in the cage'
