I tried to get the 1265 from CCS, they told me 2 weeks, that was a few months back, I ended up getting the 1260 instead as it was in stock...

If you want one quickly then your best bet is to look on Amazon.de for it. They still had stock last time I looked.

I orderd this one on 14th May and still got no feedback from them.

http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00842JVRE

I think we have to wait some time because they plan to send it sometime in Summer:

"Voraussichtlicher Liefertermin: Donnerstag, 2. Juli 2015 - Donnerstag, 27. August 2015"

Curious to see what power consumption I will have with the new processor, 4HHD WD Red and 1 SSD. I plan to keep it 24/7 so....

http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00J8U7PG0 is the SKU that actually is in stock.

Edit: Ignore that URL above. I linked to the E3-1265Lv3 which isn't compatible. It looks like the E3-1265Lv2 is now hard to buy at a decent price.

This one is V3, socket 1150.

Oops. Yes. You're right. I'll alter my post.

Ok thanks guys for the feedback on the cpu.

Yes they seem to be in very short supply.

I'm not 100% sure if that is the best cpu for me but as its a 45w I was hoping to get away with the stock heatsink, I would not really be working the server too hard anyway, mostly streaming media to kodi, and the occasional windows 10 vm etc.

I'll check ccs if i can find them and have a look at the 1260 on their.

Thanks.
