Hello,

I hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

# server details (I bought it three weeks ago):

- HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 (G1610T, 10GB RAM, 2x1TB WD Red)

- System ROM Date: 06/06/2014

- iLO Firmware Version 2.10 Jan 15 2015

- It works well (ESXi 6.0)

# network card:

Adapter 2 - HP Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 332i Adapter

Location Embedded

Firmware 5720-v1.34 NCSI v1.3.5.0

Status OK

Port MAC Address        IP Address            Status Team

1      I hide it:7c             192.168.1.200        OK N/A

2      I hide it:7d              N/A                        OK N/A

# my problem:

The 2nd. Ethernet port doesn't get ip.

If I plug cable into server then the green led is flashing and the iLo status: OK

# I have already tried these steps:

- new patch cables

- plug into other router's port

- plug out Ethernet 1 and iLO cable (from server and router too)

- DHCP (router)

- static IP based on MAC (router)

- iLO (192.168.1.198) and Ethernet 1 (192.168.1.200) work well

- iLO HP Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 332i Adapter: OK

How can I get IP (any or required: 192.168.1.199) for my 2nd. Ethernet port?

Sorry for my english!

Ignore the iLO display. It only ever shows an IP on the first interface on my ESXi install as well even though there are multiple IPv4 and IPv6 addresses assigned to VMs and the host itself. It is just a display issue somewhere as it works fine still.

@schoondoggy:

Thank you! I checked it and you are right. I configured vmnic1 in Networking in ESXi and now it's working well!

@HSS Pro:

Thank you! I experienced the same.

Best wishes!
