mavvy
Hello. I've a Microserver Gen8 whit 16GB of Ram. i0ve isntalled vSphere 5.5u2 whit Hp custom image, but the disk performance it very poor. I have 2 WD 1TB Blue in Raid1 on slot 1,2 and 2 WD 2TB Red in Raid1 in slot 3,4 all on b120i. I've enabled 128mb read cache (write cache it's 0mb because we can't install cache memory, right?) whit hp ssa offline (i've read the post of schoondoggy) but the disk are very slow. For example, i put a 5gb iso image on datastore and this work take 15min to end. What i've done wrong?
GotNoTime
The latest hpvsa driver has performance issues. Downgrading to scsi-hpvsa-5.5.0-88OEM.550.0.0.1331820 fixes it.
