Hi

I am a newbie so sorry for noob question.

I was wondering if onboard GbE ethernet is passthrough to the guest vm with G1610 celeron cpu.

Are the people running pfsense or openVswitch able to pass the network/traffic in and out of guest vm correctly?

Does the mother chipset support vt-d even though if the cpu(celeron) don't support vt-d?

Thanks

No. The CPU, chipset and firmware need to support VT-d before you can do PCI passthrough. You'll need to change the G1610T Celeron to a compatible Xeon to add VT-d support. The chipset and the firmware in the gen8 microserver already support VT-d.
