revolverpanther
Hi Guys, Are we talking security tips or currently running domestic security configuration? Thanks
ServerRookie
Well, as in all long threads, it is becoming a bit of all of them As to domestic security configurations, it should be possible to run 2 UTMs (e.g. Sophos and Untangle) in tandem, with at least 1 UTM in bridge mode, or both UTMs in bridge mode if you are behind a router. Or you could run 3 or more UTMs in tandem if you have enough spare boxes and a mild taste for paranoia
ServerRookie
I use SecureZip from PKware to encrypt data I send out into the cloud. Anyone here encrypts their OneDrive?
Drashna Jaelre
Anyone here encrypts their OneDrive? *cough* StableBit CloudDrive *cough*. Aside from that, I only put non sensitive stuff on OneDrive, DropBox, etc. I use OwnCloud, because it's self hosted.
ServerRookie
Ha, yes, it would work But I thought I could enable BitLocker for OneDrive or some similar native feature. Perhaps a little background where I am coming from. In the past few months, I took just tiny little steps beyond consumer level IT and it leads me immediately to IT scenarios that are orders of magnitudes beyond what I need. For example, I need only 1% (or less) of the features of the WS2012R2E that I am looking at. I may not be looking at the right things.
Drashna Jaelre
No, not for OneDrive normally. For the drive it's storing data on, sure.
