Rod at home
I want to post error messages into posts on these forums, but the software will NOT under any condition that I can discover, let me do it. So how do you paste text into a message on these forums? And why won't it let me?????
schoondoggy
What browser are you using? Is it text or a screen shot?

jsox
I've had the same problem. Can't paste text no matter where I copy it from. I always figured I was doing something wrong...

Rod at home
is the issue the browser I'm using? If so, why isn't that posted somewhere on the Home Server Show Forums? If the software only wants to work with one browser, I'd like to know which one it is.
schoondoggy
It is not a consistent issue. On Windows 7 it seemed like all browsers worked. I have had issues on Windows 8 with IE. Chrome always seems to work.
oj88
Firefox on Windows and Safari on iOS also works fine. As a temporary workaround, temporarily disable BBCode Mode and you'll be able to paste any text. Re-enable BBCode Mode after pasting and you can continue editing your post.
