When booting up, head into the BIOS Setup/RBSU (press F9). Select Advanced Options > Video Options, and select the 3rd option (Embedded Video Primary, Optional Video Secondary). ESC out and press F10 to save and exit.

I'm reliving the post.

Well, I have the same option in the BIOS, in the ML110 G9 server, and I want to add the graphic card that indicates the specifications for this server (I don't want an excess of revolutions in the fan because of incorporating other graphic cards).

Finally someone checked what is indicated here for the compatibility of both graphic cards? Thank you!

Hi guys did someone solved the problem with the ilo and ext graphics card. My build is MS gen8 with windows server essentials 2016, Gigabyte GT1030 low profile.

I setup the BIOS to option 3 (primary embedded, secondary external)then boot the server and open the iLo remote console i can see the POST and when the windows logo appear the remote console screen goes black(no video message is shown) and i get signal only from the HDMI. When i open the windows display settings (windows server 2016 is basically a win10) there is no second screen.

Hello, taking advantage of what they talk about ILO, there is some configuration so that in the same network port you can have the IP address to navigate and take control of ILO so as not to have 2 network cables connected
