Intel BOXDH57JG H57 mini ITX Motherboard Review

Here is a nice review on a small mobo.

Although Intel's Atom CPUs have made a splash in the mini ITX space, many users prefer the small form factor yet want more computing power than the Atom can muster. In response to this need, motherboard manufacturers have started to build standard socket motherboards in small form factors such as mITX.

Saw this with the gigabyte board and now this Intel board. My only concern is the ITX case and room for the cooler. Pretty cool to put this much power in such a small package. Thanks John.

Having just changed plans mid-stream from the Gigabyte board and i3 to an Atom D510. I'm actually really impressed with the performance of the D150. Personally I think for a simple production file server it does a nice job. Maybe for a test server I would consider running the i3 or if I was going to tax it more than just storage and streaming.

But I do think it’s a nice board although expensive. I don't think for a consumer/enthusiast needs an Intel NIC.
