So I've been tasked to attend this year's Worldwide Partner Conference.

It's also going to be a first for me to get on US soil. Anybody else attending? I don't know the first thing about Orlando, FL. I know it's a shot in the dark but, it would be great to hook up with somebody from here.

You're never too old for Disney, or that's what some say.  Depending on the time of year, you could get a wide variety of sporting events to see from Pro to Collegiate.  You're never more than about 90 minutes to either coastline but I would go to the Gulf (West) coast over the Atlantic.

Orlando is pretty much a convention and theme park city. If you do go to DisneyWorld (DisneyLand is in California) I highly recommend the roller coaster called Space Mountain. It's a wild ride, and it's in the dark! :)

Well if you put it that way, I could probably spare a few hours. Though my interest really lies at rummaging through electronics trade fairs or garage sales. I don't suppose they have any of those near the OCCC?

July is right smack in the middle of summer, right?

Hot and humid in July,,,

But probably not something that a Manila native couldn't easily handle. Just dress like you're at home ;)

I was at EMC World there a few years ago. It was may and it was raining so hard manhole covers where popping up in the air as the storm sewers could not handle the amount of water.
