DONARfr
Hi, I bought a HP Microserver Gen8 a while ago.In the Micoserver I have 4x2 TB HDDs and one SSD in the ODD slot. After I boot my Server I only get the error: Status: 0xc000000eMy installation steps:1) Create a Raid 0 with the SSD in the ODD Slot2) Install windows Server 2012 R2 with Intelligent Provisioning3) Create an Raid 1+0 with the HDDs4) Initialize the raid with a GPT partion table5) Create a Partition for the data To be sure that I have done no mistake I have deleted the array again and reboot the server after each step.Until step 4 I can boot the server with no problems, but when I create a partition on the raid 1+0 I get the Error 0xc000000e winload.exe is missing.I boot my server with the instructions from TheBiggerMan (http://homeservershow.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5886-gen8-25-hdd-in-the-odd-bay-discussion/?p=67539) If I delete the raid 1+0 array the server is booting again. Has anyone a suggestion to solve the problem? ThanksDONARfr
schoondoggy
If you are using the B120i and have a single drive RAID0 for the SSD, you do not need to use the procedure you have linked to above. Are you trying to use a microSD card? I would just set up the RAID0 on the SSD and let IP fully install Server 2012 R2 to the SSD. Then I would install the HP array software. Then I would create the RAID10 for the data drives.
DONARfr
Hi, you are right I have a B120i Raid controller. After I removed the USB stick the Server reboots with no error. I don't know why I used the USB stick with a second bootloader, maybe I read too much this forum.
