Hi!

I was palnnning to get two kingston 8GB udimm memories for the gen8-server. But I found a samsung rdimm 1333 (

M393B1K70DH0-CH9Q9 CPV 8GB 240p PC3-10600 CL9 36c 512x4 DDR3-1333 2Rx4 1.5V ECC RDIMM NLM w/3rd party label, Samsung) at home. I mount it together with the shipped one (a 2GB udimm). According to ILO I now have 10 GB ram. Is there any issues mixing rdimm an rdimm? Is there any major differences between pc12800 and 10600?

Best regards Daniel

Sorry for unburried this...

Until today i have 2gb (the original) and an 8gb stick that i bought from Kingston KTH-PL316E/8G, so i have 10gb of ram.

Today i get a stick from ebay.. Kingston KTH-PL316/8G so i miss the E...

When boot the server the bios identify 16GB but in esxi i only have 7,84GB so should i buy another KTH-PL316E/8G (difficult to find ddr3) or get another KTH-PL316/8G

Thanks for advice
