Just to be clear, it would be better to say, "The cable needs to be a 'Category 2' or 'High Speed' cable." Based on your answer readers might make the assumption that they need to have an "HDMI 1.4" cable. There is no such thing as a 1.Xy HDMI cable—despite the fact the manufactures and retailers incorrectly label cables as such. Link to post Share on other sites
