How do I replace Cloudstation database?

My Cloudstation has been upgrading database for 2 months, or better. Syno Support says I have too many files and version for a DS414 so ... 1) share less or 2) start w/ new database.

I've removed over 1/2 of the files that were in the CS folder, but "Upgrading..."  continues. I'd like to delete the database and restart. I think CloudStation is pretty awesome. None of the psql commands I've found via google or in the syno support forums to help. I've come here for help that works.

Thanks for you input...

nleistad,

Need more info, You don't say what version of DSM your running? How much disk space do you have free on DS?

I did a quick search about this and found a solution that worked for someone having the same trouble as you and this was also what I was going to suggest as well but before you do this MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD BACKUP of everything.
"ultimately solved it by completely uninstalling and reinstalling CloudStation on DSM. Once I did that it worked in DSM, but didn't work in the clients. I had to completely uninstall all the clients and re-install them. Then those worked" I copied the quote from Synology website. I would further add that I would also reboot the Synology DS after uninstalling Cloud Station then reinstall Cloud Station & do the same with the clients just for safe measure.

Just know after you do this a complete resync of everything will have to be done and depending on how much data you have it could take awhile  -_-

Good luck and I hope this helps.

DSM 5.1-5022 Update 1

4.9TB free on DS414

CS folder on DS = 2.63GB, 2247 files in 182 folders.

On PC after pairing down =1.23GB, 637 files in 61 folders.

I'll backup both, un-install all around, then reinstall.

My idea had been to spank the pgsql database and rebuild, but that's probably doing it the hard way, AGAIN... :-(

Thanks
