StableBit DrivePool vs DriveBender with Windows 8.1 ?

It's pretty easy to disable scanning of USB drives:

  1. Open the Scanner console
  2. Click the Settings tab
  3. Select Scanner settings
  4. Click the Scanner tab
  5. Uncheck both options under Removable drives

Please note: I'm giving you the steps as they work under the WHS2011 version of Scanner. Your steps may vary slightly, but they should be mostly good.

Thanks again !

My next action : open a ticket to CoveCube (now I'm a customer :D)

I'm also going to open a new thread about synchronization between 2 machines, if anyone of this thread use that ;)

The UI is identical for both the WHS2011 version and the "desktop" version. :)

The only difference is HOW you access the UI. (Dashboard or stand alone).

Thanks again !

We don't care if you're a customer or not!

No really, we don't. We (well, I) just want to help out and make sure everything is running properly.  :)

No problem, it was a joke (it's the reason of the :D) ;)

Before opening a ticket, I'll try with my other external HDD and I'll let you know.

Thanks !
