I have installed an older graphics card in my gen 8 but Windows os does not Seem to recognise it. I cant see it in device manager or open hw monitor.

The fan on the card spins just fine.

There should at least be an entry in device mgm.

I checked the bios but could not find anything related.

Is the card dead or am i missing something?

Perhaps you could specify which graphics card you installed.

Also, in the BIOS, did you specify that the add-in card is the one you want to use. I mean, how can you see that it's not listed in Device Manager? Is your monitor connected to the new card or the onboard GPU?

Where exactly should i look in bios?

Thanks
