yodafett 97
Went to go update my work PC to test MS updates prior to SCCM pushing them out and look what is the default update it tries to install. Um no Microsoft don't try and make unsuspecting sheep your beta testers and then force rebuild at the end of the trail period that is what second PCs and VMs are for. yodafett 97
If I show available updates the technical preview is still auto checked

Joe_Miner 254
Is that just in Win 7 or do you see it in Win 8 also?
jmwills 284
It wasn't in my 8.1 choices. Somehow Microsoft thought it would be cute to sneak it in thru either WSUS or SCCM. So to answer JM's question, you wouldn't see it without one of those services will be my opinion.
diehard 42
Paul Thurott said that the update will only show up in Windows 7 if you signed up for the Windows Insider Program. Can anyone confirm ?
yodafett 97
I can see advertising it for those that sign up for the insider program but should not be defaulting to install it. Very bad move as I signed up for home and work testing but shows up on production desktop. JM I was checking via MS not the wsus or sccm server
jmwills 284
I haven't signed up and didn't receive anything.
