logeox 0
Is there a third party app or a way to enable a 2 step Authentication for remote access of my WHS2011 Server? Edited October 14, 2014 by logeox
ikon 439
I'm not aware of any, but I would be interested to find one that could use a Yubikey.

tmpr 0
Unbelievably there is http://www.scorpionsoft.com/docs/authanvil/rwwguard2011/ ...for a price The minimum cost to get started with AuthAnvil is approximately $1,100 in the first year. If you are interested in pursuing AuthAnvil for your business, please fill out the form.
ikon 439
yeah...... not really an option for home use, I'm thinking.
Drashna Jaelre 159
Ah, yeah, I remember looking into this a while ago. AuthAnvil is about the only solution. And yeah, definitely not cheap, but I think they went up in price considerably. Though, it's not impossible to do this.... it would be a PITA to implement. Maybe AuthAnvil has an "at home pricing". logeox 0
DUO https://duo.com/resources/ebooks/two-factor-authentication-evaluation-guide?key=sgoog3a&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_campaign=Brand&utm_content=Brand-General&_bk=duo&_bt=280470144184&_bm=e&_bn=g&gclid=CjwKCAjwwZrmBRA7EiwA4iMzBJ1T6aG-Nr0BdN6JLimfVP-T3L_l32DFunOk8ob55-HDxXqRnCcVyxoC1E0QAvD_BwE Its free for home use. I have it set up for local lan RDP access. I dont expose RDP to the internet except on special occasions. and it works for remote RDP via wan. I mostly use my VPN to home and then remote via lan. You can also set duo to work with third party websites as well just like Google Authentication. Also works with yubikey https://duo.com/docs/yubikey Edited April 29, 2019 by logeox
