jmwills
http://sellout.woot.com/?ref=gh_so_11 For use as a third backup source, this might be a good idea. Note, these are reconditioned, whatever that means.
ikon
Ah, reconditioned. I was wondering, when I read the Subject Line, how on earth could they have gotten that cheap.
jmwills
But still, for testing or a third line of defense. Not too bad. Those drives sold from the place in CA are downgraded WD Black drives and people here run them all the time. BTW, do you need my extra large magnifying glass? ikon
Oh, I agree. HGST drives have been good to me in the past. I just found the price point surprising until I read the actual post. Sorry, don't understand the magnifying glass comment (not that I couldn't use one).
Dave
I was just about to post this deal. Nice find. I'm not sure if I would put all my data on it buy maybe as a secondary or tertiary copy. Have an external caddy laying around? That's what I'm thinking about.
