While I would prefer a temp closer to 20C, 25C isn't too bad.

Yes, it is autumn now and we had a cold summer. It might get hot at 30C.

My WSE12R2 box with Core i5 Ivy Bridge 3570K and 8 WD Reds runs at 40C or less CPU right now. But my RAID controller is at 49C. I've maxed out my case airflow.

 

Am about to put this box in a closet with a ceiling exhaust fan on a thermostat. This is based on an open room.

 

Unfortunately the RAID card generates most of the heat or this box would prob drop to lower idle temps.

It would be nice to get the temp down, but 49C is probably within the operating temp range
