ikon 439
LOL, I didn't mean IDE. I have quite a few enterprise 120Gb and 250GB SATA drives. They're no longer useful for too many things, but server OS backup is one of them.
javaman 1
IDE??? I'm sure you are joking but http://www.diffen.com/difference/IDE_vs_SATA I still have a bunch of old IDE drive around, my oldest one was about 140MB
ikon 439
I think JW is wondering why you still have IDE drives; so am I (unless you've started your own mini museum).
javaman 1
Because I still have a few old PC's. I can't boot them up without the IDE drives. OK not that I ever booted them up after taking them out of commission. Still I think I will keep that old 140MB drive around along with the 486 CPU I was running at the time. jmwills 284
My last IDE drives went to Goodwill several months ago and had not been spun up for about 7 years.
