Rod at home 2
A few months ago I got a new Netgear Nighthawk router. Love it! There's only one thing that's a problem with it and that's the lights on it. Yes, I know they're there for a reason, and I appreciate it, but sometimes I'm in the room there my router is, trying to sleep, and the blinking lights keep me awake or wake me up. I have been putting a cloth napkin on it to hide the lights, but I don't like that idea, because I'm afraid it will make the router too hot, especially with the weather getting warmer. So, how to I block the blinking lights on the router, so that it isn't apparent, from the back of the router?
diehard 42
Black electrical tape or black nail polish.
cskenney 155
I second the electrical tape.
Rod at home 2
Electrical tape sounds promising.
cskenney 155
It's also not permanent so you can remove it if you want to later.
Drashna Jaelre 159
Black nail polish works as well. May be a little more permanent, but should "peel" off depending on the brand.

Don't think too many routers have that feature, but it's a great one.
