It has had the bios hack done so that the user can use the port multiplier enabling more than the 4 disks. Sale also includes a SansDigital TR4M-BNC 4 bay sata to e-sata port multiplier and the necessary pcie card installed in the microserver. Both units are populated with 12 Tb of hard drives.
