It may be here somewhere and I just did not find it.  Anyone notice that the Nov 2013 firmware now offers in addition to Raid 0 and Raid 1, it now has JBOD, Raid 10, and Raid Ready?

What is Raid Ready?

RAID Ready describes a system that is currently not in a RAID configuration. Intel's RAID solution allows you to configure a RAID Ready system to a RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 or RAID 10 volume by adding additional SATA hard disk drives and then running the migration feature documented in this document.

That to me reads like you can put a single drive in a machine and set it up as "RAID Ready" then at a later date add another drive(s) and migrate to a RAID array without having to mess around rebuilding everything..

Thanks, hum,,,,do I want to take time testing this LOL

Guess it would be fun to try one disk raid ready, then add one for raid 1 a few reboots later
