stix01
So I'm a little frustrated. I started out and got my windows install underway. But wanted to re-do the install as I didn't have a few things right. Now I've restarted it spits out the iLo trial key and says that its been used before. The website says it lasts 60 days! it has not lasted me 20 minutes.. help! What to do!

Are you running the latest iLO firmware and system BIOS? I havent updated firmware and bios yet. I didn't want the basic - as I need the java console as I've no VGA device in my house.. I wanted to install and have my 60 days advanced and decide if I want to buy a full licence as I think I will. TimeOut
What iLO4 firmware version do you have? There was a bug fixed in 1.32 that could cause the Trial License to expire prematurely. Upgrading to 1.32 should clear the "Trial" bit and let you re-apply the license.
schoondoggy
You really need to have iLo and BIOS at their newest level

stix01
Ok. To solve this issue if anyone encounters it - I also suspect it allows one to keep reseting. You can dive into the iLO bios menu and do a full reset on the iLo - This is what HP told me to do. Solved the problem. Also - HP online chat support = fantastic.
