oj88
(Sigh) It's that time again to add another drive. Capacity aside, are there other technical considerations that I should look out for when choosing between the two? I already have four 3TB Reds and they have been in their best behavior since new. Did it change for the better or worse on the 4TB version of the EFRX?
Joe_Miner
You can check the performance of the WD Reds versus the Seagate NAS drives at http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/5790/nas-hdd-showdown-wd-red-vs-seagate-nas/index.html I just added two 4TB WD Red's to my WHS-2011 Stablebit Drivepool and they seem to be working well with the other dirves in the drivepool. oj88
Thanks! I guess it's all green to get the 4TB Red.
jmwills
I presume you are running some sort of pooling application in order to mix and match these 3 & 4 TB drives
