gm85 Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 There are 2 ways that the 1921 can support vlans. If you purchase a 4 or 8 port switch module (EHWIC-4ESG or EHWIC-D-8ESG) for the 1921, the switch module can support 16 vlans. The other option is set up one of the routed ports with sub-interfaces (one sub-interface per vlan) and attach the port to a trunk port on a switch. You can create up to 1200 sub-interfaces on the 1900 (although I doubt you'd need that many without maxing the performance specs of the router) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
