Outlook Sync

On the June the 2nd bitsdujour.com will have a special on Outlook SynchPST. The vendor said it can be used to basically update my .pst file for use by more then one client, as long as there is only one active session at a time. Does this sound accurate and safe?

I have also read that you can use any sync program to update a .pst file if it is saved away from the main location or shared. Is this also accurate?

I would likely only use it on my desktop and update the WHS copy instead of using it with other clients, but I would like to keep that file current and safe on the WHS.

They are also selling a duplicate remover today. I tried the free ODIR, but it didn't seem to work well on Office 2010. The 3rd one is a backup utility, and still deciding if it adds additional functionality beyond MS's own .pst backup tool?

Thanks for the help.
