Issue with N54l

My micro server has suddenly stopped booting. It was shutdown, then when started again  later that day it would not boot at all. No HP logo, no nothing. No hardware has changed for months, i've tried unpluggint the icy dock and all the drives, to see if I could just get to the bios, but nothing. Also tried unplugging everything and plugging back in again, still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

It's always possible of course, but it does seem a little early in the N54L life cycle -- wouldn't have thought any of them are old enough yet to require a new battery.

Yeah, CMOS batteries usually take a long time to die and have to drop quite a bit in voltage.

Might want to inspect all the mainboard capacitors just in case. That shouldn't be a common case either (that one is blown or leaking) but I'd probably check in this situation.
