New Intel Desktop Build

If you're not going to use a compatible program I suspect a Xeon is your biggest bang for the buck.

I think I'm probably going with the Xeon. Since I won't be overclocking and I have a well ventilated case, the stock CPU cooler should be fine, or should I get an aftermarket?

Telling wife I am going to spend 2k on 3 components, she wouldn't be happy. Despite the fact she wants a $3500 refrigerator.

Lol....that's my budget buy I won't use it all if I don't have to! Besides, the wife got a new fridge, washer, and dryer she wanted earlier this year. It's my turn! :)
