fspadafino
I tried to update the BIOS on my N40L Microserver using the sp64420 update and now it won't boot at all. It powers up but there are no beeps, the HP logo doesn't light up and there is no video. I have been searching the web and trying tons of options to no avail. I am completely dead in the water. If anyone can offer a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !
schoondoggy
Did you make a BIOS recovery key? If not I believe the number listed in this document can help you: http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03026340-1%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken
fspadafino
Unfortunately I didn't create a recovery key. I tried the steps on that site and it didn't work, I'll try the 800 number next I guess. Thanks !
