i have installed server 2012 e .

I created AD and a domain

The clients connect to the server with in the LAN, correctly.

I have 4 users who connect via remote to the server.

They connect using RDC perfectly.

However, I can NOT ACCESS the local printer, or ports.

I have disabled the easy print using MMC.

but I still do not connect

In SBS 2003, it worked fine.

Can you advice how I can make local printers enabled when  remote in to server.

There should be a Tab in the RDP Connection tool named Local Resources.  Check Printers.

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click Remote Desktop Connection.
  2. Click Options in the Remote Desktop Connection dialog box.
  3. Click the Local Resources tab.
  4. Click Printers in the Local Devices box.
  5. Click Connect.

That, or connect the printers to the server, share them, and create a "group policy" to push the printers to the domain clients. :)
