schoondoggy 900 Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 The Samsung EVO drives are 6.8mm thick. The Icy is designed for a 9.5mm drive. Did you get a spacer with the drive to make it 9.5mm? Link to post Share on other sites

schoondoggy 900 Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 You may want to check the drive to see if it stayed in place. Without the spacer they can move and lose connection. The notebook version comes with the spacer, see the last picture; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G15X9352 I am not sure that this is your issue, but I have seen it happen.
