2,5" drives in GEN8

Hi,

 

it is possible to use the following SSD in the Gen8

I mean by this, in one of the four bays?

Bay 1 - 60GB SSD : WinServer2012r2 + Office2013 + VMwareWorkstaion

Bay 2 - 120 or 256 SSD :  for VM's, DataStor

Bay 3 and 4: ?

 

 

al this is for testing likes:

 

MS: DC, DHCP, DirectAccess, Exchange SQL, SystemCenter ...

Networking: Cisco, GNS3, juniper, vyatta etc...

 

and alsof Esxi vCenter...

You can, but you need to get a 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapter that has the proper alignment for the SATA and power connections.

One of these should work;

This type of WD IcePack works as well;

I have not tried this one, but it appears to be the HP version. They are on eBay;
