Tried to talk the wife into this for her i3 Win8 notebook.

I was informed to tinker with my computers, leave hers alone.

Manufacturer Recertified

Fast read-slow write

Nice price per GB and really good read speeds!

I realized I've been hanging out with Schoondoggy too long when one of the first things that jumped into my mind was how two of these in RAID0 would make a REALLY NICE OS drive in WHS-2011  :D

After waiting way too long to put my server OS on an SSD I understand your thoughts. It is probably the single best thing

I have done lately for my server environment.

When I was testing/playing with the 2720 in the MicroServer I did put two Crucial M4's in a RAID0 for the OS drive for Server 2012 -- THAT was really REALLY nice!  Certainly not practical or logical but boy was it fun!

Using a SSD fro your OS drive in WHS2011 really does make it feel like a big time server -- remote in and play with server manager is one of my fav's! :)  But now I'm thinking..........................................
