schoondoggy
We should start a iLo thread or perhaps a remote monitoring thread. Thanks for the find, I ordered one, for $42 its worth the risk. It is the current part number. Normally, advanced is $350-400 and essentials is $100-130. Buy.com US has it for $59; the UK version is more; http://www.play.com/Search.html?searchstring=512485B21&searchsource=0&searchtype=allproducts Several eBay sources for $35; http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-512485-b21-512519-001ILO-ADV-PK-SGL-SVR-W-1YR-TS-U-/290839114198?pt=COMP_EN_Servers&hash=item43b75cb1d6 Search with 512485B21
Joe_Miner
Good idea SchoonDoggy -- I've split this off to it's own thread. There's some additional info on iLO4 at http://homeservershow.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5578-can-you-build-your-own-gen8-equivalent-microserver/page-2#entry67600 also. mrmellypants
Hi All, Just a quick update I have cough, cough found a few iLO 2 keys, and they work fine for iLO4, so I suspect the ones of ebay, Amazon etc will be good as well.
ikon
Not to be critical, but I hope those iLO2 keys are legit.
schoondoggy
I finally started playing with iLo on the MS G8. Similar to others, with the B120i enabled everything was fine. B120i and a P212 in the system iLo can not find either. I have a ticket open with HP support.

LoneWolf
My big question is, does anyone know what happens at the end of a year? Do you just lose phone support and updates, or do features you have purchased disable? I'm okay with losing support, but I'd be disappointed if it means losing remote access functionality.
