Mac Backup help

Hi,

 

I have not done a ton of searching on this yet.... hoping someone can point me to a resources.  I have a new mac book pro 10.8 that I got the connector up and running on.  When I try to backup it tries to launch time machine, but does not see the server.

 

Can someone help me get he mac backed up to the server - Is it time machine using he server as a share?  Or does WHS wake up the mac and back it up like the windows machines.

sjunderwater on the WGS has a hack to get backups working (basically a VM with AFS mapped to network shares, I think it was) to get time machine working. Otherwise.... I believe you're basically SOL.  Sorry.
