Does the Rev 4 bracket also fit in a Gen 7 anyone know?
Thanks!

It does not. It only fits in the Gen8.

Okay thank you!

I'm thinking of buying a Seagate external 4TB drive and shucking its drive for use in my Microserver.

Would there be any barriers to installing its 15mm drive on the Schoondoggy bracket?

And would it be possible to stack a 7mm drive on top of that, or would 15mm + 7mm be too thick?

Thanks for the help.

You can fit two 15mm 2.5" drives side by side on the bracket. You can't stack a 7mm and a 15mm as it would be too thick. You could mount one 15mm and mount two 7mm (stacked) next to it. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

FYI

I have five of the R4 brackets left. I will not be making any more of the R4's.

I'm really interested in the brackets

Anyone selling theirs ?

Wanting to mount 4x1TB SSDs so will need the 9mm and the SDM R4

And if anyone can point me in the right direction of making my own I can give that a go.

Thanks,

ROB
