Drive bracket prototype V2 is almost complete. This version mounts more securely and can mount two 2.5" drives or one thin(20mm) 3.5" drive. I need to move the 3.5" mounting holes up a little, drive sits too close to the power connector;

While a 3D printer would allow you to print a plastic holder, I do kinda like the idea of having a metal plate that can help, at least a little, dissipate the drive heat.

I am running 6 drives(two 2.5" on the bracket and four 3.5" in the swappable bays) and a DVD. I add a HP P212 RAID card to have enough ports.
