As I do not plan to build any more of the SDM Rev4 brackets, I have decided to share the schematic.   https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ao9ObX1BCpuXsstkeE7Jc5cyRmYTFQ?e=8ouDcP   Edit- This is a

As I am almost out of Rev 2 brackets, I have been playing with Rev 3 designs. I had hoped the HP MS Gen9 would be out before I made a new bracket, but I said that before I made the Rev 2 bracket! I pl

I am still pulling together all of the costs, it should be under $25 for:

SDM-G8 bracket

Eight M3 countersunk screws for mounting two 2.5" drives

Four 6-32 countersunk screws for mounting a LP 3.5" drive

Two 6-32 screws to mount the bracket.

Shipping in the US will be $5

I am still working on International shipping.

1TB 2.5" drives are going to be slightly thicker than the normal 2.5" versions. Just make sure you have some slack in the fitting.

Just kidding :P We are used to it.

schoondoggy I think Im not the only one in saying this but I think a fan mod is also a intresting concept. Do you plan to investigate on this matter for a mod to allow 4 pin fans? I know this also requires BIOS modifications but...

I guess these drives must be new. Newegg.ca doesn't even list them, and I can't order from newegg.com (not that I'm really looking for 2.5" drive ATM anyway).

Mine came from the Synnex warehouse in Calgary. Next day delivery. Try memoryexpress.com or cdw.ca?

SchoonDoggy,

I have a second Crucial M500 240GB SSD on order.  It should arrive in the next 48 hours; when it does, I'll be mounting the Rev.2 bracket and posting pics as well.  Plan to run it in RAID-0 with the first drive  on the B120i.

As the first drive is already RAID-0, I'm hoping the B120i will let me easily migrate to RAID-0 with two drives, but if not, I can restore the boot drive from backup.

Helzy, I'm also in Calgary. Perhaps once schoondoggy provides a production status update and shipping cost we could make arrangements to go in on a couple and split the shipping costs?
