NewEgg Price changing based on cookies!

I found this thread with a quick Google search, and registered just to chime in on this issue. I just noticed this same problem today, while looking at CPUs. Here's a comparison with Newegg open in Chrome on each of my two monitors (Left is normal, right is Incognito):

I seriously hope that this isn't an intentional act on Newegg's part.

This is backwards from the usual idea of receiving a better deal for letting them spy on you. They seem to give you a better deal if you block them from prying into your business.

Any chance of a higher res image? I want to send this along with my complaint

 

This is backwards from the usual idea of receiving a better deal for letting them spy on you. They seem to give you a better deal if you block them from prying into your business.

I'm not totally sure, but I think their logic is that you looked at their item and then came back after looking elsewhere, and that shows you want to buy it from them. So they jack up the price hoping you didn't notice or something to that effect

For some reason Photobucket automatically resized it. Maybe there's a setting to change that?
