Give it away?  ;)

I think $349 with a touch cover would be the sweet spot.

11" Lenovo Yoga's are regularly on sale for around $350, and they come with a keyboard.

I'm thinking $299 with a touch-cover, $320 with a type-cover.

There are some good bits in the Paul articles above, the Windows 8 tablet market is still in its infancy, but he continues to compare it to iPad and Ultrabooks.

In the comments, he states that a iPad Mini is a better deal than a $349 Surface RT, better for who? In another reply, he points out all of the x86 software I wont run, if you need that get a x86 tablet or hybrid. He also complains about it being too slow to use, that has not been my experience.

To me it all depends on your use case. I wanted a device that was in-between a tablet and a ultrabook. My RT fits the bill just right. I am sending this post from a cabin in northern Wisconsin, with my Lumia 900 sharing the internet. I think the current pricing is great, if the RT meets your needs. I think this pricing is to blow out inventory ahead of the RT2 coming out.

In addition to my RT, I use a Motorola 8.2" tablet for consumption, a workstation at home and at work I use a  Dell ultrabook and a Samsung 10.1" tablet.

I know I have said it several times, but it is all about your use case.
