Boot Issues OS on SSD and another volume on P410 - Help

I have installed Windows 2012 onto a SSD connected to the NL40 Motherboard.

Updated windows all worked fine...i created a RAID 5 using the 4 hdd's connected to the P410 raid controller and created the volume for my data.

when i shut-down and booted up..the server could not find the boot device any more and would not boot into windows..

I checked the bios and made sure the 1st boot drive was the SSD and the P420 as the second..this did not make any difference..

i started the windows 2010 install again..and the SSD drive is present and is set to primary - the volume on the raid controller has also set it self to primary...is this right..?

Did you connect the boot drive (SSD) to the P410?  if so, remove it and connect it to the mobo.

"I have installed Windows 2012 onto a SSD connected to the NL40 Motherboard."  <-- He seems to have that covered.
